She may have started her career on some rocky terms but, year by year, Kim Kardashian has proven herself to be quite a stylish figure and a great businesswoman. Kim recently introduced her jewelry line, Belle Noel, in collaboration with Pascal Mouawad, and we took notice.

Inspired by Old Hollywood stars like Vivien Leigh and Sophia Loren, as well as 1970s fashion icons like Julie Christie and Lauren Hutton, Kim's jewelery is very powerful and bold (just like her). The line is extremely wearable and can easily be dressed up or down. “I wanted to create a line where you could go from day jeans to a cocktail party effortlessly without ever having to change your jewelry,” says Kim.

All the pieces are gold plated and are quite striking, especially on Kim against her long beautiful black hair.

One of the most striking, and innovative, pieces is the hair chain that one can wear over a long ponytail, or even dangling under a chignon. It reminds us of something Cleopatra would have worn.

Another really amazing piece is the intricately woven 'Dagger' bracelet with crystal spikes. As Kim intended, this one would make for a perfect companion to a pair of jeans and a blouse as it would to an evening gown.

Belle Noel earrings range from small gold and crystal studs to big (and we mean BIG) drop earrings. We especially love the 'Nugget' earrings. They are so glamorous and have a vintage 1930s feel. And the way Kim styled them with a black cape and her hair pulled in a chignon is just perfection. Very Old Hollywood.
